1. Summary of the week

From April 8 to 12, a total of four licensing and cooperation agreements were sealed. Within the China Biotech Industry, only one in-licensing deal was signed, involving Boehringer Ingelheim and Sino Biopharmaceutical. Globally, three licensing and cooperation deals were inked during this period. The most significant deal of the week was between Arvinas and Novartis, boasting an upfront payment of $150 million and a total deal value amounting to $1,160 million.
