About the speaker
Dr. Michael Vazquez has over 30 years of experience in drug discovery and development at Pharmacia and Pfizer and has worked in numerous therapeutic areas including CNS, antiviral, oncology, and inflammation/ immunology. He served as a Director for Pfizer in St Louis and led the JAK1 project leading to the development of abrocitinib. He has played a significant role in the development of multiple marketed drugs and holds more than 500 global and regional patents. He has authored over 20 publications and has been an invited speaker at major conferences and universities.
