1. Summary of the week

In the first week of February, a total of 6 deals were signed globally. Within the China Biotech industry, there was only one out-licensing deal—between Henlius Biotech and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories—for the Phase I asset, daratumumab biosimilar. The agreement has a total deal value of $131.6 million, including an upfront payment of $33 million.

Globally, the largest deal of the week was a licensing agreement between AnaptysBio and Vanda Pharmaceuticals for the Phase III asset, imsidolimab. The deal is valued at $50 million, with an upfront payment of $10 million.
