1. Summary of the week
From March 8 to 14, a total of 14 deals were signed worldwide, including two in China’s biotech industry—one in-licensing deal and one domestic deal.
AbTis and WuXi XDC entered into an in-licensing agreement for the abclick® platform, while AnlongBio and SunNovo signed a domestic licensing deal for an siRNA program.
Globally, 12 additional deals were signed. The largest deal of the week was the collaboration between Zealand Pharma and Roche for petrelintide, a Phase II asset, valued at $5.3 billion, with an upfront payment of $1.4 billion.
