About the speaker
Dr Weiwen Ying has 25+ years of experience in small molecule drug development. Before starting Ranok, he was the former Vice President of Chemistry and member of the Executive Committee of Synta, a Nasdaq-listed company, where he had participated in and led the development of many innovative oncology drugs, among which he successfully promoted the HSP90 inhibitor Ganetespib from discovery to Phase III for the treatment of lung cancer and blood cancer. Besides, he originally invented the HDC platform, a new direction for anti-tumor drug discovery, with a leading project transferred to Tarveda Therapeutics at ~$250M.
