1. Summary of the Week
From July 12 to 18, a total of 16 agreements were signed globally. Within the China Biotech industry, there were two out-licensing deals and three domestic deals.
The top China deal of the week was between Mabwell Bioscience and Unilab for the approved Denosumab biosimilar asset, covering registration and marketing in the Philippines.
Globally, 11 deals were announced. The top global deal of the week was signed between Boehringer Ingelheim and LEO for the approved asset SPEVIGO® (spesolimab), a monoclonal antibody targeting IL-36 receptor, with $97 million upfront payment.
