1. Summary of the Week

From August 1 to 8, a total of 12 agreements were signed globally. Within the China biotech industry, there were three out-licensing deals and three domestic deals.

In China, the top deal in China was between Visirna Therapeutics and Sanofi for the Filed asset Plozasiran, with a total deal value of $395 million and an upfront payment of $130 million.

Globally, six deals were announced. The top global deal of the week was signed between Adaptimmune Therapeutics and US WorldMeds for the three TCR-T assets, with a total deal value of $88 million, including a $55 million upfront payment.
