1. Summary of the Week

From September 13 to 19, a total of 17 agreements were signed globally. Within the China biotech industry, there was one in-licensing deal, four out-licensing deals, and three domestic deals.

In China, the top deal was the joint establishment of Kalexo Bio by Mabwell and AditumBio, along with a global exclusive licensing agreement for the bispecific siRNA asset 2MW7141, involving an upfront payment of $12 million and a total potential value of up to $1 billion.

Globally, nine deals were announced. The top global deal of the week was signed between Monte Rosa Therapeutics and Novartis for a pre-clinical immunology asset, with a total deal value of $5.7 billion and an upfront payment of $120 million.
