About the speaker
Oystein Soug is an experienced biotech executive with a strong track record in leading and scaling life-science companies. He has been the CEO of Oncoinvent since 2024. Soug previously served as CEO of Targovax (Circio) and Arxx Therapeutics (Calluna Pharma), as well as CFO of Algeta, playing a key role in the company’s growth, financing, and the successful global partnership with Bayer for Xofigo, culminating in Algeta’s acquisition for USD 3bn. He has extensive experience in corporate strategy, financing, clinical development, and international partnerships. Soug holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).
