Oded Ben-Joseph, Ph.D.
Managing Partner, YAFO-Outcome Capital
Dr. Ben-Joseph possesses a unique blend of executive, entrepreneurial, scientific, and transactional expertise. He serves on the Boards of XableCath and ELIOS Vision, guiding young entrepreneurs as a Mentor at the MIT Innovation Fund. Previously, he was Managing Director at Boston Equity Advisors, a boutique investment banking firm focused on PE and M&A in the therapeutic medical technology sector. Before that, he held the role of Executive-in-Residence at Oxford Bioscience Partners, a life sciences venture capital firm. Additionally, Dr. Ben-Joseph has led several medtech companies as President/CEO, including Caliber Therapeutics, Deep Vein Medical, X-Cell Medical, Ester Neurosciences, and Biolight Phototherapy. He has impressive academic achievements with positions at the University of Michigan and Tokushima University, along with numerous published scientific papers and accolades. Dr. Ben-Joseph holds an Honors degree from Imperial College London, a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA magna cum laude from the University of Bradford. He is a FINRA Securities Representative.
