1. Summary of the Week
From July 5 to 11, a total of 17 agreements were signed globally. Within the China Biotech industry, there were three out-licensing deals and three domestic deals.
The top China deal of the week was between CStonePharmaceuticals and IstitutoGentili for the approved asset Sugemalimab, with a total deal value of $192.5 million.
Globally, 11 deals were announced. The top global deal of the week was signed between IchnosGlenmark Innovation and AbbVie for the Phase I asset ISB 2001, with a total deal value of $1.925 billion, including a $700 million upfront payment.
